Ever have days?

I'm having weeks. No, strike that. I'm having entire months.

Next week, I move into a new place. It'll be a fraction smaller than what I have right now, but I'll also be paying less in rent. Which is important for the time being. At least until I've saved up enough cash to afford to get both a new apartment of my own and transportation. Not necessarily in that order, either. I can get transportation first, then worry about an apartment. Right now, transportation is starting to carry a higher priority. Having a car is becoming a necessity.

At least my work is stable. Not only am I pretty well set (finally) but they plan to start shifting duties on me, handing over maintaining of the hardware deployments, along with keeping up to date the software blockpoint we use. Which means I'll be needing training on visual basic scripting, which means it's back to learning... *sigh* The good thing is that they'll pay for me to learn this stuff to be useful. So I should consider myself not only lucky to have a good job, but that they're wanting me to expand into new directions.

Of course, now I need a vacation. I'd go to a furry con, but I can't afford one until next year... *sigh*

Any suggestions on how to keep the sanity?

How to Keep the Sanity

Well, as long as it's not one of those lives...
Getting out and about is always good - I've had a fondness for local theatre for a long time, and find it a good distraction from my net.addiction. There's always a shortage of techies... <grin>

If you've got vacation time, maybe just take a week to relax, raiding the local library for reading material?

Keep the sanity? Why on earth...????!!!
Sanity is highly over-rated. Trust me. Really it is. I promise.

Oh, and TAG!
