...'twas the day before Ymas...

And all through the workplace
not a creature was stirring
except for the poor folks who had nowhere to go for the holidays.

That about sums up my plans for the holidays. Nowhere to go, nothing much to do. Oh, I'm snagging a laptop for the holidays from work (temporary loan) just to have something to play with/write with/be amused with, but anything else is not going to happen. So my holiday will be spent in a hotel room, watching television or listening to my music while playing Zangband. *chuckle*

Naturally with it being near Yule, the weather is typical Gulf Coast. Severe thunderstorms, warm temperatures, any sign of winter far, far to the north of here. It would be nice to see something that closely approximates winter here, but that's a wish that's not going to happen anytime soon. Not with El Nino making life miserable for the West Coast, and those storms just roll right now over us after a while.

Ah well... time for me to head back to work. Or what little work I'll have today. Half the place is empty...

Xmas, Ymas, Zmas...
But, of course, for ounci, it would be XXXmas. ;3

I wouldn't mind spending Ymas in a hotel room in Ft. Walton Beach. It would be better than having to deal with my weirdo family. Oh, well, I have my arsenal (and Manchester United, and Celtic, and Rangers...) as a fallback.

My carpals are tunnelling.

Is it Live? Or Memorex?
Yes, it's the same Tal who was living in New Orleans, the Big Easy, the City that Forgot to Care. *Gryn* Amazing what sort of driftwood shows up when you least expect it.
