Ike's Interruption

Sunday morning, way too early in the morning.  And the news of the morning...

Hurricane Ike is slamming the Turks and Caicos Islands, and is poised to go along the northern side of Cuba into the Gulf of Mexico.  Whee.  Just what everyone wanted again, another monster storm.  And just like Gustav, it's anyone's guess where it's going in.  Half the models say west of New Orleans, half the models say east of New Orleans.

Again, it's time to keep an eye on things, and just wait... and wait... and wait.

{SIGH} I do hope this storm isn't fond of averages. I think New Orleans has seen enough of hurricane trouble with Gustav. {half-smile}

I wish these storms would give the East a break, but I know that Josephine is next in line. {half smile} I'm no where near the area, but just enough friends and relatives are scattered around, there aren't too many paths available to these storms where I don't know anyone to feel concerned about. {resigned look}
