The experiment is back on.

And once again I go back to playing with Vista.

Part of the reason is that the company I work for is beginning to post training classes on Vista.  This is in order to prepare the technicians like myself to deal with the disaster that's looming over us all.  So, I've gone ahead and reactivated the Vista drive and am working in it a little more than before.

Vista is eye candy, serious eye candy.  It also is annoying as that cat that seems to want to sleep on your stomach at 2am in the morning.  I've turned off most all of the User Access Controls, simply because this is MY machine and I want it to work the way I choose.  Since it's fairly secure to begin with, I'm not worried about someone coming onto my computer and doing anything with it, and usually keep a lot of accesses closed off unless I tell the system otherwise.  And since I'm not much of a game player or interested in waR3z (most all of my software is purchased, what isn't is freeware) I'm not too worried about trojans, macros or viruses.

So we'll see what happens.  The system gets upgraded over the next week as it is, so life may get even more interesting soon.
