Whatever you do...

...don't pray for me to get better.

*chuckle*

Yes, I'm doing better now. 48 hours of food poisoning does wonders to a person's outlook, not to mention physical and mental stability. I'm at least eating again, and feeling more 'normal' than I was Tuesday morning. Oh, and losing 10 lbs during that time frame definitely didn't hurt, although I would have preferred losing it in a more... orderly fashion.

If you haven't seen the news, over at CNN they have an article on a medical study to be published. Apparently a group funded a medical study to see if there was any known effects of prayer, and the results were... well, let's just say the results were NOT what the group was expecting. Of the ones who knew they were being prayed for, there was an increase in the number of complications after surgery than the ones who didn't know they were being prayed for. So...

If I ever go into a hospital ("No hospitals! First they take away your pants. Then they hurt you and starve you and expose you to disease. Then they bill you for it. A lot.") just don't tell me you're praying for my recovery. I'd rather recover with a better chance of making it. *Gryn*

I'm suffering from something similar. It's like having the flu minus any infection... Just like being kicked in the stomach, minus the actual kick.

*sigh*
